Bourbon Specialty Coffees Internet Auction Acceptance of Term and Conditions

Your participation in this auction confirms that you have reviewed and agreed to the following terms.

Coffees ranked from 1st to 10th place of the 12th Edition of the Espírito Santo Microlots Contest, 2025/2026 harvest, will be available for purchase.

 You agree to the terms and conditions of purchase and shipping included in this contract.

As an auction participant, you authorize Bourbon’s Marketing team to publicize your brand as an integral part of the post-auction marketing material.

It is the supplier’s responsibility to determine quality, value, and quantity.

The buyer shall assess the value of each coffee based on the quality in the cup, stock lot sample received, and its suitability for its business.

Farm information is for educational and marketing purposes only.

Auction Opening and Closing

The auction will start at 10:00 AM (Brasília time) on Jan. 26th, 2025, and will end on Jan. 28st, 2026, closing starting at 09:30 AM (Brasília time) from lot 10 to lot 1, finalizing at 10:00 AM.

Coffee Lots

The 10 lots of coffee offered for sale through this internet auction were purchased by Bourbon Specialty Coffees S. A. and are the winners of the 12th edition quality competition in the Espírito Santo region, 2025/2026 season.

The designated coffees were cupped blindly through the following process:

First phase: November 10th, 2025, with the participation of 6 Q-Grader certified judges, in Poços de Caldas-MG.

Second phase (Final Selection): December 1st, 2025, with the participation of 6 Q-Grader certified judges, in Poços de Caldas-MG.

Payment Requirements

Payment terms will follow usual terms, approved for each individual customer account. In case of new customers, the terms must be discussed and analyzed together with our trading team. At auction closing, buyers are to reach our trading team to prepare the contract.

Shipping Requirements

Shipping instructions must be sent to the exporter within 7 (seven) days after the end of the auction by the winning bidder or the importer designated by the bidder. All lots must be shipped within 45 days of the auction or in accordance with buyers' current contracts. No claims can be made to the exporter after 45 days of shipment. Shipment of lots will be consolidated with existing contracts between Bourbon SpecialtyCoffees S.A. and the buyer. If there are no open contracts for consolidation or purchase intent for immediate shipment, the buyer should contact the trading team to discuss shipping options, in which case the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs (EXW). Any changes that result in extra fees will be paid by the buyer. All buyers must contact the trading team within 2 days of the close of the auction.

Indemnity, Claims And Disclaimers

Bourbon Specialty Coffees S.A. bears responsibility for the use of this auction on the Internet and on the Plataforma Leiloar website. Thee winning coffees were selected and scored in a blind cupping. Farm information pertaining to each winning lot is provided by the producer and is not known to the public until the winning coffees are announced at the closing ceremony, to be held on Feb. 7th, 2026. Until this date, we request discretion in the announcement of the purchase of lots. Bourbon Specialty Coffees S.A. confirms that farm information is correct and up to date, but is not responsible if any information changes before or after the auction. Participation in this auction represents a contract for the purchase of coffee. In the event of default in payment, legal action will be taken.

 

For any quality claims, Bourbon Specialty Coffees S.A. must be contacted directly prior to any public statements/posts/social media, articles, or any related matters that will be published to the general public. A resolution will be sought amicably between Bourbon Specialty Coffees S.A. and the buyer. Any public statements/posts/social media, articles, or any other general public postings made prior to contacting Bourbon Specialty Coffees S.A. will result in a void process quality claim. Bourbon Specialty Coffees S.A. reserves the right to have final resolution on any quality claim.
